Neil Stalnaker

Active for over 20 years as a professional trumpet player, Neil has performed concerts in the United States, England, Switzerland, Italy, Russia and currently in Japan. In the 1980's, Neil was a featured soloist with the United States Navy Band's Official Big Band, the ;Commodores.” Neil has played styles ranging from Bach to be-bop, including salsa, funk ,big band, free jazz, bossa nova and fusion. As an educator, he has been teaching since 1981. His experiences have been with students ranging in age from kindergarten through university and adults. The teaching settings have been private, classroom and workshops/clinics. He has performed in nightclubs, hotels, concerts, jazz festivals and toured the U.S.A., Europe, Russia and Japan.


Yuichi Inoue

Born in Sapporo (Hokkaido), Japan in 1963, Yuichi Inoue has been active on the Tokyo "scene" since 1992. In May 1995, he released his first original album, "My Bebop" (King Records). Inoue was a member of a quintet led by drummer Masahiko Osaka and trumpeter Tomonao Hara. They released a number of recordings together, including a "live" recording in Washington, DC at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In October 2002 he released his 4th CD called, "Standing Out". Inoue has played with many musicians while living in Tokyo including, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Nicholas Peyton, and Antonio Hart.

Mike Reznikoff

Born in New York, Mike Reznikoff grew up listening to the music of many musicians. This was due to the large number of jazz musicians who were friends of his father. When Mike turned pro at the age of 21, he played in New York with Frank Strozier (sax), bassist Gene Taylor, Kai Winding (trombone), Don Elliot and many others. Since moving to Japan in 1978, he has played with Hideto Kanai, Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, Tsubasa Tamura, Yoshio, Ikeda, Eishi Toki, Jazz Factory and Nobuo Hara and the Sharps and Flats Big Band. Currently he is playing in the Akemi Koike Band, Kunihiko Watanabe Group and Yoshio Toyama's Dixie Saints. Mike has also recorded over a dozen albums with various top Japanese artists while living in Japan.
